So, it’s finally happened.  Years of preparation, thought and creative gestation has given birth to my pride and joy:  Little Eye Designs.  ”Little Eye” is the all encompassing term for anything creative I do, but the design aspect is what I’m most excited about.

This is just one example of the designs I’ve been working on, but basically they’re my original photographs set in bottle caps and featured in hair clips, pins, magnets, necklaces and earrings.  Psyched!

I’m super excited about these and have already secured several accounts at some great Maine shops.  The following is a little more about them.

-Nova G on Forest Ave (Portland, ME) features consignment clothing picked for its uniqueness (is that a word?!)  Featuring original fashions from Holly and Jen and a wide variety of accessories from lots of local artists.  Click this link to visit.

-Roots and Tendrils on Cross St. in Belfast, ME is an alternative arts space and gift shop/gallery featuring some amazing Maine artists.  See Bub and Meg’s website here.

-Find on Free St. (Portland, ME) is Portland’s newest consignment shop and has the BEST selection of vintage clothes around.  They also have GREAT cowboy boots…every time I go there there’s something new.  They don’t have a website yet, but you can call (207)699-4285 to talk to lovely Laura or one of her amazing staff.

-Paper Moon on Main St. in Westbrook, ME is the home of Jan and Andy Curran (also Maine artists) and their shop is chock full of very tactile, unique pieces.  Put your mouse here and click to visit an interview with them!

So all in all a pretty great start to 2010.  Much more to come soon, and I promise to update this site a wee bit more often than I have in the past!
